ABOUT

Tory is a Boston native singer, musician, and educator. Tory has recently completed her undergraduate dual degree at the University of Hartford in Vocal Performance and Music Education. Although Tory has few professional years thus far, she has had ample experiences. 

Tory recently graduated from the University of Hartford where she studied with past MET Opera performer, Sondra Kelly. She has also held several roles in the Hartt School including Grisette in Lehár’s The Merry Widow and Ma Moss in Copland’s The Tender Land. Outside Hartt, Tory has performed in productions within the Boston Camerata and Trinity Church in Boston. Tory is involved with choirs locally as well as internationally. She is currently working with Primi Voci, a high school treble choir within the Connecticut Children's Choir program. Most recently, Tory has helped direct choirs at the Philadelphia International Music Festival, The University of Western Cape located in Cape Town, South Africa, several schools in Florence, Italy, and Lynn Public Schools in Massachusetts. Tory also enjoys working in arts administration, collaborating with Boston-based programs like The Handel and Haydn Society and The New England Opera Intensive Program. Post graduation, Tory plans to continue utilizing and expanding on these experiences. In her free time, Tory volunteers as music director for The Prism Project, a program that provides musical programming for children with disabilities.
